Highlands Neighbor Finds Camera in Bushes

July 8, 2024: Shown here is a photo of what is suspected to be a small camera recently discovered in shrubbery by a homeowner in the 1600 block of Oakwood in The Highlands.  Arcadia Police Department  has been notified and is now involved.  It is possible this is a "stake-out" of a home or homes in the Highlands in order to learn the comings and goings of  residents in the Highlands for the purposes of learning when the residents are not at home thereby facilitating home burglaries.

Man Living In His Car Gets Towed

May 1, 2024: After repeated calls from the Neighborhood Watch on the 1100 block of Highland Oaks, the Arcadia Police Department investigated a man (white, mid 30's, dark hair) living in his car near the intersection on Highland Oaks Drive and Sycamore.  Residents reported that the man would often yell from inside his car and undress in there as well.  When police investigated the situation, they discovered his license plate tags had been expired since 2022.  His car was towed and he has not been seen in the area since.
